Types of entertainment:Grand Prairie kicks off a weekend of centennial celebrations September 1. This carnival-like atmosphere includes a stage made out of an old street, car rides, clowns for the kids and a huge Centennial birthday party and cake. Headlining at the celebrations will be musical group Wide Mouth Mason. Centre 2000 also hosts interactive displays for kids and adults alike at the Heritage Discovery Centre.
